THE DISTRICT PHX window art
The District PHX is a real estate agency that specializes in revitalizing or rebuilding properties completely in harmony with the existing neighborhood. The focus mainly on historic neighborhoods in Phoenix, AZ.
They occupy a beautiful midcentury modern office in Phoenix, but had a set of interior windows that was lacking personality. Working on the concept with Salt & Lime Agency, we came up with a solution to personalize their office with a scene of the Phoenix skyline that incorporates some of Phoenix’s finest historic homes.
Historic Homes in the Encanto, Willo and Coronado districts.
This was an opportunity for a fun research project, as it meant a walking tour of some of Phoenix’s historic neighborhoods, specifically Encanto, Willo and Coronado, some of the districts that they focus on. I photographed some of the most unique homes as an illustration reference.

Since we were designing this project for a 3D space, I thought that the easiest way to communicate how it would feel in the office was to create a 3D scene in After Effects that composited the look of the office with the windows.
